Staying in either of two renovated musterers huts; one within the beech bush out in the wilderness or one by the river's edge. These huts retain the character and atmosphere of a working station.
Round Hill Hut
Refurbished 2 bedroom fisherman's hut located on the Pomahaka River. Open plan living and dining area opening onto a deck. Sleeps 8 people.
Parasol Hut
Pure remoteness! Located in surrounding Beech Forest. A renovated musterer's hut offering a comfortable dining and living area in a unique atmosphere. Joined onto this by a deck is a newly built 2 bedroom sleepout. Sleeps 10 people.
All kitchens are fully equipped with: Gas ovens, BBQ's, cutlery, plates, pots, pans, coffee plungers, tea towels, wine glasses, items for washing up and lots more. Both offer a flush toilet and shower, hydro power electricity and running water.
All beds are bunks with inner sprung mattresses. The beds can either be singles, or kings. The bottom bunks can slide over to create a king size bed. All linen is provided, accompanied with a cozy duvet ensuring a good night's sleep. You will need to bring your own towel.
Comfy chairs surround the fire if you are inside, otherwise chairs on the deck can be used to experience the peaceful evenings. Magazines, cards and board games are at both huts for your enjoyment.
All facilities are there to help you relax, enjoy the company of your friends, family or group companions and reflect on your day's achievements.
