Welcome to our corner of paradise. Hukarere Station is a certified organic hill country station based in West Otago covering an area of 20,000 acres. The unique beauty of our hill country tussock and grasslands provides one of the most beautiful natural playgrounds in all of New Zealand.
Hukarere Station offers adventures from non trophy free range hunting of red deer, fishing of brown trout and sea salmon on the Pomahaka River; mountain biking, horse trekking and tramping through a wide variety of terrain. Or just relax in our comfortable hut accommodation whilst soaking in the tranquillity of your natural surroundings.
Quintin and Rebecca Hazlett live at Hukarere Station. They have 3 children; Olivia, Jack and Toby. Hukarere Station is New Zealand's largest family owned working organic sheep and cattle farm. The property is currently running 11,000 sheep and 2,000 cattle on 20,000 acres ranging from 1200m to 250m.
