Once we have received your booking enquiry, we will then send an email to discuss your chosen dates and adventure. Don't forget that different options can be taken by your group. For example some may wish to bike the trail and others may choose to tramp it. You will all end up in the same hut at the end of the day.

When an available start date is arranged, a deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking. Your booking is not secured until the deposit is received. Please make one deposit payment per group. This can be by cheque or internet banking. Please pay your deposit within 7 days of receiving a confirmation date.

Cheque to be made payable to 'Hukarere Trading Co Ltd' and posted to - Hukarere Station RD 2, Tapanui, 9587. Please include the surname that the booking has been made under and your arrival date as Reference.

Direct Credit to Rabo Bank A/c 03-1353-0252064-00 Please use the surname that the booking has been made under and your arrival date as Reference.

Once we have received your deposit, we will send you an email to confirm your booking and details on how to get to Hukarere.

We do not have credit card facilities at this stage.

The balance will be due 1 week prior to arrival date and can be paid directly into our bank account. Please use the surname that the booking has been made under and your arrival date as Reference.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

More than 20 days notice 80% refund. Deposit can be carried over to another later booking.

Between 7 and 20 days notice 50% refund

Less than 7 days notice No refund

Hukarere Station reserves the right to cancel a booking in extreme conditions when unsafe bad weather compromises safety. An alternative date can be arranged or a full refund will be given.

Receipt of your deposit confirms your acceptance of our cancellation policy.
